Who are My Kingston?

We are a husband and wife team who have been sharing the local area and businesses on My Kingston since 2017. If you're local, you probably have seen us walking around Kingston taking photos and videos, with our 1 year old in tow (plus a bump arriving very shortly!). Together we run a small social media company, helping local independent businesses with their social media marketing.

What's our connection to Kingston?

One of us grew up in the area and lived locally for 25 years, as well as going to Tiffin Boys School. We work in Kingston and spend a lot of time here with our friends and family!

What is the Kingston LoveLocal Card?

The Kingston LoveLocal Card is a physical card people can purchase (for an annual fee of £36) that will get them 10-20% discounts at the local restaurants, cafés, salons and shops who have offers listed on our website . You can view all the offers on our website here, some offers will be available all week and others on selected days. You can tap each offer to read their details. We will be donating 5% of each card sale to the Kingston Foodbank

How do I use my Kingston LoveLocal Card?

For most businesses, you can redeem the offers by showing your physical Kingston LoveLocal Card when requesting a bill, or visiting a shop. Please tap on the offer you want to use and read the terms & conditions in case there are any other instructions to follow to redeem the offer.

How do I order a Kingston LoveLocal Card?

Visit the Kingston LoveLocal Card website here and follows the instructions in 'Step 1' to set up your annual membership direct debit, which is an annual payment of £36. You should see a message confirming successful set up of the direct debit once you have completed the forms and we will then post a Kingston LoveLocal Card to the billing address provided within 7 days.

When will I receive a confirmation email for my order?

You will receive a confirmation email when the direct debit payment is processed which can take 1-3 days. If you are unsure if your direct debit was set up successfully, you can email us at info@mykingstonapp.co.uk and we will confirm for you as soon as possible.

When will my Kingston LoveLocal Card membership renew?

Your membership will automatically renew annually, unless you contact us by email at info@mykingstonapp.co.uk to cancel.
